My journey with dogs started in the woods of Vermont. Growing up surrounded by the rugged beauty of the VT mountains, I learned early on that a dog is at their absolute best when they are moving, exploring, and engaging with the world around them.

For over a decade each, my dogs Henry and Goochy were my constant companions on those trails. Most of the photos you see on this site—including the one on this page of me and my daughter—feature Henry, the dog who taught me everything I know about the bond formed through shared adventure. They are the reason Wild and Well exists today.

Now, I’ve brought that mountain mindset to Rockville Centre, where I live with my husband, our two daughters, and our current pack leader, Milo. While I love my human family dearly, I’ve always preferred the company of dogs over people. I am truly at my happiest when I’m outdoors with a four-legged companion by my side.

At Wild and Well, we believe that movement is medicine. We aren't just providing a walk; we are providing the "wild" lifestyle every dog craves, while they are treated with the same love and devotion I have shown and continue to show my dogs every day.
